Welcome! We are excited that you are reaching out of help - that’s a wonderful first step towards your recovery and healing.

Susan is a highly experienced perinatal mental health counsellor who supports individuals and couples experiencing emotional challenges during pregnancy and the postpartum period. She provides a warm, compassionate space for those navigating anxiety, low mood, adjustment to parenthood, and the complex emotional changes that can arise during this time.

Susan also has extensive experience supporting individuals and couples facing infertility and fertility treatment. Drawing on her background in family therapy and her work within leading fertility clinics, she supports clients to navigate the emotional and relational impact of infertility with care and understanding.

You do not need a referral to see Susan as a private client, however, if you are wanting to obtain a Medicare rebate, you will need to see your GP to set up a Mental Health Care Plan and referral - these can be emailed or faxed to our clinic ahead of your appointment.

Please ensure that you have a provided a current valid referral if you are claiming rebates via Medicare. Whilst we will help to process these rebates, it is your responsibility to keep track of the number of sessions you have accessed under your referral. Our clinic cannot be responsible for rebates that fail to process if you have used up all eligible sessions. If you have any questions or concerns, you can call Medicare directly to check your referral and number of sessions.

Please consider booking several appointments ahead so there is no disruption to your treatment program. Most clients require fortnightly sessions at the beginning of treatment, which can be spaced out further once symptoms begin to settle.
